I believe that regardless of all the consequences that our modifications are capable of causing, we need this in modern society. In modern day, we always sacrifice things in order to make our economy and daily process more efficient. As the average American, we do not seem to care if there are risks as long as there is a benefit. It is the sad truth but I would rather have food and the supplies that we need all the time than have a shortage like I assume we would eventual have should we change our methods. In conclusion, I agree with the modifications that we experiment with.
